Biomet, world leader in the orthopedic market, is growing! This is partly due to the take-over of a part of Depuy, trauma orthopedics. In June 2011, Biomet signed a five year lease contract for nearly 11.000 m2 of logistics space with associated facilities. This space is part of the larger complex Hazeldonk where Biomet is expanding.
Since June 2012 Biomet rents another 7.040 m2 of additional logistics space in the same complex. Hazeldonk became the strategic location for Biomet and parties have therefore signed a new lease contract with a term of 10 years, closed for a total of approximately 18.000 m2.
Both logistic areas (hall A and C) are part of a total distribution complex of 26.000 m2, developed by HVBM Vastgoed. This modern logistics building has an unique location on the A16. Hall B is available from November 2012 and consists of 8.445 m2 logistics space.
Biomet chose Hazeldonk partly for its central location in relation to its European headquarters in Dordrecht and the logistic distribution centers of the European carriers. From this distribution complex Biomet currently serves European markets, as well as other continents for products manufactured in Europe.
