Breda is working on the Dinalog Campus Masterplan, which is to be the guideline for the development of an economically sound Dinalog Campus. In contrast with the independently operating Dinalog Institute, the Campus is an area of development in which the City of Breda is to make the next move. The Masterplan is to serve as a basis for the draft zoning plan. Dinalog, for that matter, will be one of the first institutes to establish on the Campus. Next to Dinalog, as important bearers of the eco-system allowing the development of open innovation, general amenities to hold meetings and large gatherings, a restaurant etc. will be developed.
Part of the Masterplan is the financial validation of the Campus development. This business case is based on Campus principles, indicators and various interviews with stakeholders. This provisional business case offers insight into:
The results of these actions in the public and (semi) private sectors will be entered in the definite business case, which will be part of the Masterplan.
Actions to draw up the draft zoning plan are expected to start in 2011 and the near pole is to be hit in 2012.
