The national Open Innovation Festival (OIF) will be held for the third time from 29 November until 3 December 2010. Breda will also participate, with a variety of workshops, lectures en other inspiring sessions on several locations.
The festival aims to innovate the public domain in order to showcase how governmental organizations, the profit sector and knowledge institutions can cooperate. Furthermore, it aims at showing that by working together we will create a more effective, more efficient and better government. The central theme of OIF2010 is working in communities. In Breda, the program is divided into three global parts: inspiration, co-creation and learning. Parts of the program concentrate on the physical environment that is needed for a new way of working, other parts focus on ICT or social media and there are moments in the program that provide fun and energy which is necessary to make a change.
OIF2010 intends to demonstrate that opening up yourself and your organization to creativity and expertise from others will add an extra dimension to your projects and your work. Also, OIF2010 will proof that another way of working could lead to results once considered impossible.
The OIF Breda program is available from the 10th of November on www.breda.nl. www.openinnovationfestival.com provides general information regarding the festival. Interested in the OIF newsletter? Mail us on firstname.lastname@example.org
